UNDERGROWTH

Undergrowth is the outcome of a university assignment turned into personal passion project.  This piece is a digital moving collage that takes you through an abstracted process of decomposition, growth, and rebirth.

Created using my own drawings, free-use photos, public domain artworks, and self-made greenscreen video, this piece combines many of my personal artistic interests into one final composite.

The process for this project included filming green screen video, editing photos, drawing different pieces of the collage, collecting public works, and animating all the pieces.

The animation I included had the rabbit skeleton move and breathe, as well as the mushrooms appear to grow. I wanted to convey the passing of time through these subtle movements.
